i think a wet pigeon is the ugliest thing i've ever seen.
if you've never seen one, spare yourself the agony.
i mean, normally pigeons are pretty dumb-looking but in the rain the feathers on their heads get all clumped up so they look like they're clumpily balding with their big bulgy orange eyes and their feet that look twice as big because their feathers are glued to their bodies...they're pretty amazing creatures all right. amazing in a bad way.

i washed a great many cars yesterday to go to cuba. that's a pretty anonymical statement isn't it? i'm in a pretty random mood. maybe it's the wine *ahem* i mean...uhh...lack of sleep. i don't think it's possible to get drunk off an equivalent of a teacup-full of ice wine. it's one of those nights where my parents are in a good mood and break out the stash of alcohol we keep in the basement. don't ask me why we have so much...i really don't know. honest.
back to car washing...we raising $500 for 5 hours of car washing. some cars weren't even that dirty, i think they just had pity on us poor rich kids (they think: marianopolis...come on, they're private schooling right??) but we just looked so tired and pitiful and backbroken. they even tipped us generously...and we left streaks. whoops. highlight: i washed a mustang, a jaguar and a hummer. NICE man. i mean...this is the only time in my LIFE i'm gonna be able to touch one of these cars. and the owners weren't even watching us to make sure we didn't scratch anything, they went inside the gas station for pop and chips. heh heh too bad i didn't skedaddle the keys for one of them cars.
i came across a nurse smoking today. i find that insanely paradoxial. they're the ones that shouldn't be smoking because they know exactly how it kills you.
and finally, to confirm my ever-growing cynicism, i found that face creams are now marketing "poly-amino peptides" as an asset ingredient in their products. what on God's green earth is a poly amino peptide?? if i, having taking basic university-level biology do not know what a poly-amino peptide is, chances are they don't exist. GIRLS BEWARE!
